Exclusive – Sound and Picture
The anthem of IS are no longer only toned words launched by IS to attract violence fans in the world, but also turned into a public messages to the world, especially for IS’s supporters, and perhaps carry secret codes to IS followers around the world, including orders and directives to move to certain goals, especially after the rapid spread of IS releases on the web.
It’s almost a year since IS released a video titled “Shifaa Alsodour” in which IS burned the Jordanian pilot “Moaz Al-Kasasbeh”. The video was accompanied by a new anthem that says “soon, soon you will see wonders” and in the same time IS began planning for the Paris attacks, by linking events between the time that “Sound and Picture” reporter knew about the matter and the time IS released the video.
The anthem carries a large amount of threats and intimidation to everyone who participated the International coalition’s strikes in Syria and Iraq. The anthem summed up the story of a group of young men who will keep trying despite the hardships to go to these countries and begin bombings and killings at night and filling streets with blood.
The release of the video “Kill them wherever you find them” which showed the perpetrators in the Paris attacks, was accompanied by a new anthem in French, holds a new messages, as the anthem says, that those attacks were for God, and for God they have to unite and kill in cold-blood and a hearts full of joy understanding that they do things that please God, and that they only needs to listen to God and shouldn’t listen to anyone who tells them that they are ignorant, then IS sealed the anthem with “We will kill you, God willing, we will kill you, that’s a promise.”
In view of the meaning of the lyrics we understand that there is something strange happening among IS fighters, IS was trying to convince its supporters that this action was for God and the Koran and not for certain people, referring to IS’s princes. That came after the spread of hearsay among the fighters that they pay the highest prices in princes’ service and to achieve their interests only. So maybe IS felt that it should send indirect message to them that carries some pictures to persuade them to return and obey IS’s orders which could be another operation in one of the European countries after IS’ fighters retracted after seeing that Paris attacks focused on innocent people and not against military targets as IS alleged.
In view of the opening lyrics of the anthem, the language was Ambiguous, unlike the rest of the lyrics which were familiar and understandable to all, except of the word \ l’inimitié \ which means “enemies”, is rarely used in French language and only used in a few slums, As if it is a message to inflame tensions in those neighborhoods to attract extremists, just Like the Belgians who carried out the attacks and grew up in similar neighborhoods.
The video didn’t answer many of the questions frequently asked, only offer some footage for the exercises of the attackers in group 17’s point in Raqqa, and footages of executions they did before they leave Syria. The video is sealed with displaying footages from Britain and its planes, are these footages going to be the secret massage that carried by the release?!
