Hasaka – Sound and Picture

On Sunday, IS conducted a surprising attack targeting regime-controlled Panorama roundabout area at the southern entrance to Hasaka. The attack resulted in clashes using heavy and light weapons by IS and regime forces supported by YPG.

“Sound and Picture” reporter in Hasaka said “In conjunction with the clashes, regime warplanes launched several air strikes targeting IS areas surrounding Panorama roundabout which resulted in a number of dead and injured who were taken to a hospital in Shaddadi town in the southern countryside of Hasaka and to Mayadeen city east of Deir Ezzor, most of them were in serious condition.

Another fierce clashes also took place on the same day between IS and YPG at Abdulaziz mountain area southwest Hasaka, in which IS succeeded to make a progress in Iza’a front pulling out YPG of the region after a number of deaths and injured from both sides.

Coinciding with the clashes that took place in several areas, regime warplanes also bombed Abyad bridge area with steric rockets while international coalition forces strike IS locations in a number of rural villages south Hasaka.

Opposition activists from Hasaka mentioned that IS fighters took control of the martyrs cemetery area south Hasaka after clashes with YPG and force YPG to withdraw to the power plant area.

In another context, IS websites and pages announced the death of one of the most prominent media office members ” Abu Albara’a” of the so-called “state of Albarka,” who died in the international coalition forces raid on IS headquarters in Tel Brak area southern Hasaka countryside.
