Aleppo – Sound and Picture
IS succeeded to control Tlaleen town in the northern countryside of Aleppo after battles lasted for days against the opposition forces in which IS used all kinds of weapons and car bombs.
“Sound and Picture” reporter in Aleppo countryside, said: “IS was able to control the town after attacking the village with heavy artillery, rocket launchers and car bombs.”
Our reporter also said: “IS used civilians as human shields to control the town and this forced the opposition forces to retreat.”
By controlling Tlaleen town north of Mare’e and Um Hosh, days ago, south Mare’e, IS tightened the blockade on Mare’e city. Moreover, Tlaleen, being located on high hill, made tal Rifaat – Marea road exposed to the fires of IS.
Sources to “Sound and Picture” assured that there was a large displacement movement in Mare’r city, especially in its northern edges, on the impact of IS control of Tlaleen town news. Most of the displaced people headed towards Tal Rifaat and Sheikh Isa towns”.
Clashes resulted in number of dead and injured in the ranks of the two sides and claimed the lives of three women who were killed by IS sniper within the town. IS also executed one of the opposition fighters and three civilians on charges of helping the opposition forces.
On the other hand, many civilians were killed Friday night by International Coalition strikes over Almrouh IS controlled village, south Serrin town in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
Activist Omar Al-Halabi said to “Sound and Picture”: ” six civilians “documented by name”, including children, were killed due to strikes, while dozens of people were injured as a result of direct shelling over civilian houses in the village, which led to the destruction of a number of them.”
The clashes surrounding Serrin village between the united forces , which includes YPG forces and factions of the free army against IS, were almost stopped after the control of the united forces over it a month ago.
