Yesterday, after eight months of besiegement without  water or electricity and relaying only on insufficient amounts of food entered through regime “Ilyushin” planes, families were allowed to leave Al-Jora and Alqusour neighborhoods which are both controlled by regime and besieged by IS, after getting security clearance.

“Sound and Picture” reporter in Deir Ezzor, said: “about 45 of Deir Ezzor families were allowed to move out of Al-jora  and Alqusour neighborhoods, but their suffering was not ended. As they came across IS checkpoint, they were transferred through 3 large trucks and two “military trucks” to Ma’dan City east of Raqqa, and then released after interrogation.

Our reporter also said: “At the first IS checkpoint, 3 women members of Khansaa Battalion searched all displaced women seized their mobile phones and broke their memory cards, as well as confiscating all identity cards and official documents and arresting all women moving out without a male guardian.

It is worth mentioning that IS in the past week Issued a statement compelling all displaced people from regime controlled areas in Deir Ezzor to review IS security office within twenty days, to resume the investigation and join Sharia courses.
