Exclusive – sound and picture

Since the early days of IS “Daesh” controlled  Deir Ezzor and its countryside in the mid of last year, IS resorted to more severe sanctions on its opponents, whether they are civilians or combatants. Those sanctions differed according to the mistakes that IS  sees as a regulation, and whether they affect the entity of IS or its legitimacy. Among Those sanctions, were seizing properties and the destroying houses.

“Sound and Picture” Reporter confirmed that, IS has done a very serious step by confiscating the property of leaders and fighters in the Free Syrian Army FSA, Jabhat Al-Nusra  and some revolutionary leaders in various civic activities. IS has also expelled people and destroyed their houses. Some of these houses were used as headquarters and administrative centers or prisons by IS, other houses were given to Immigrants to live in.

This acts have affected the people of Deir Ezzor who did not declare their repentance for IS and swear allegiance to “al-Baghdadi”. Thus, they fled the region when IS took the rule over other areas inside Syrian territory like Kalamoon and  Idlib countryside or to the Turkish territory.

Because of that, IS considered them as “apostates and agents working  for the western countries to fight the Islamic state”.

IS was worried that these people would carry out to form  factions to return to the region and fight IS , especially after many of sleeping cells in Dier Ezzor countryside turned against IS and its fighters and started  military operations.

“Hassan”, a coordinator in “Sound and Picture” says: “IS took over dozens of houses in Deir Ezzor and its countryside as well as the houses of “Alshaitat” clan. The number of  houses could not be counted especially that “Abu Hamam” town is still  a military zone of IS where IS didn’t allow people to return to their homes and it stole their households under the pretext of confiscation because they belong to apostates.

Among these houses demolished by IS were :

The house of  Alislam Army of Islam “Jaish Al Islam” commander in Deir Ezzor “Salim Alkhaled”.

The house of  leader, “Ayed AL Hafi Abu Hatem “

Among other houses which were confiscated, and they are many, as we mentioned, were:

The house of “Ahmad Tome”, the head of the Transitional Government, in the section under the control of IS of the city .

The house of  lawyer, ‘Saad Al-Saud’ in the town of ‘Alqoriah’

“Alhaji Fawaz” from the eastern countryside commented “IS , does not only confiscate the properties and houses of the Army fighters and Alnusra, but also these of many residents of Deir Ezzor and its countryside, who live in the Arab Gulf states, pretexting that they are citizens of those countries and serving in their armies, and they  participated with the international coalition to fight IS , especially who live in  “Bahrain and UAE.”

In fact, we wished the best from IS , when they said that they came to help us , but after these bad actions they did to us and our children, under the pretext of the establishing the Islamic State, we are convinced now that IS came only to achieve its objectives exploiting the blood of our sons. We’ve already seen in television how Israel destroys Palestinian homes by bulldozers and bombing them and we grieve so much for them. Today, what can we say about those who destroy our homes and dismiss the people in the same way?

After they claim that they came to apply the law of God and  bring justice to the oppressed.
